welcome all this guide to recover or change your sql server password if you forget it

Steps to recover the SQL password :

1. Start SQL Server Configuration Manager


2. Stop the SQL services


3. Edit the properties of the SQL Service


4.Change the startup parameters of the SQL service by adding a –m; in front of the existing parameters






5.Start the SQL services. These are now running in Single User Mode.

6.now open your SQL Server with Windows Authentication like this photo


7.Go via the security panel to the properties and change the password of the SA account.


8.now you can't login in your sql you must go to Server Configuration Manager and stop your server agian and change startup parameters As they were and start it again and go in you sql and write yor password
