Atlas (beast) Editor weather?

when i try to use weather in any of my atlas clients none work in any language. I'm not sure if im doing something wrong or if im just dumb but i cant figure it out and i have the weather folder in all of my atlas' I'm not sure if i need a new one or if im not taking the proper stepas to create one. i have seen a video tutorial on it over a year ago but cant remember a thing. so please all i want is a small boost on how to change weather/lighting in certain areas like how it is changed to dark and rainy in the valley of the risen. Also I would like to know if anyone knows how to change the sky settings. the same sky 24/7 is annoying. thanks for any help.
