[how to][tutorial] editing textures & music

ok i wanted to make this guide because although it might be easy some people may not know how or may have forgotten. at any rate i hope it will help and people like. thanx

    EDITING MUSIC FILES
    Spoiler:

    1. go to your client folder and open music folder.

you will see all the files are in .ogg which is a type of sound format.

    2. download this :Free MP3/WMA/OGG Converter - Download.com

    3. now once the program is installed just convert your MP3 or WAV file to the .OGG file.

    4. rename the file to the file your replacing and replace it

super easy. maybe not worth a tutorial but i thought it was pretty cool when i did it.

    EDITING TEXTURES

ok this one i had found on the forum of a FLyff server that i use to play and i figured i would post it here for people.

credits for this tutorial go to Abbe (2d/3d developer for fly for democracy)

    1. first you will need to download Paint.NET and photoshop or other image editing software.

    Paint.Net link: Paint.NET Free Download

you can google photoshop torrents to get photoshop. i myself had bought cs4. so i will not provide a link. sorry.

    2. install Paint.Net and photoshop. derrr

    3. go to your client folder and navigate to Model/Textures

    4. for this tut i will edit Part_maleCloakAccord.dds, so find it in the texture folder.

    5. once found open it with Paint.Net

    6. save the file as a jpeg and close Paint.net

    7. open the Part_maleCloakAccord.jpeg in photoshop.

    8. edit however you want it to look.

i made mine look like this. you can laugh if u want its horrible i didnt take my time on it.

    9. now save it as a jpeg with the current name Part_MaleCloakGaia.jpeg and close photoshop.

    10. open the new edited image with Paint.net

    11. save the file as a .dds file, so its Part_maleCloakAccord.dds

    12. copy the Part_maleCloakAccord.dds file and paste and replace it in the Texture, TextureLow, & TextureHigh folders.

now open your game and you should have a new cloak. sweet!!!

The texture is a good tutorial. But photshop doesn't support .dds files. But I tried to find a plug-ins, and found one. What ever, I want only to tell everyone that .dds files doesn't support on photoshop.
If you guys want the link, for the plug-ins, pm me! I am not sure, If I'm allowed to link links (:
