    guys, im up to this step:

    "If you got errors with the login incorrect in one of the error files. Try and run all Servers in Adminstration mode (RightClick + Run As Administrator) or turn off the UAC this will fix the prob.

    and make sure all ODBC's are running on Windows Authentication
    "



    but i ALWAYS get that message, ive always had UAC turned off and i do run it as admin, but nothing happens, if you guys could help with my configs that would be great cause i dont think i have them setup right which is making this error occur.. here:

    Ok, Dell Honne, your online rigth now, which is awesome, could we msn chat or something, this is really baffling to me, the old days of easy server setup up when it was v11, was so easy, all this is confusing for me now lol


    EDIT: Could we teamview or something because earlier i had to skip a step cause i got an error no1 had and wasnt addressed lol.



    EDIT2: Ok then obv you dont want to msn lol. Then could you tell me what ODBC's r please, use normal un-abbreviated words please lol.

    I don't do Teamviewer ;p When I mean the odbc's I mean the ones in the guide or try some other fixes.

    Dell Honne, DW i found it, i had to TYPE into the field, not select the DBFs from the dropdown menu. So i did them all with the win auth..... but i STILL get the DB Login Connect Failed when opening the accountserver.exe....... WTH is wrong lol, i dont understand what else could be making this not work?... Could any of the config files be making this play up?



    EDIT: YYEESSSS I FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK AND CONNECT... it was the config files... woohoo but i need someone to post all of their config files, bceause silly me changed them without making any back-up ones, so now i need to default configs, and im not DLing 600MB for files that would be hardly 10kb, lol.



    Ok so, i go to open up the files 1-7. I open up accountserver.exe Finally it works and its all good.. i go and open 2databaserver.exe but there is a pause then i get: Can't connect db: CDbController.CreateQuery. Then later it pops up: can't connect character db.
    So i continue through anyway to see if there are anymore problems, so i open up 2coreserver.exe, its blank grey, opens for 1 sec, then closes.
    i Open up 4.Certifier, all is good.
    i open up 5loginserver, i get the can't connect character db, error again.
    i open up 6cacheserver, it opens then closes.
    i open up 7worldserver, it opens and then closes again.



    So there you go, whats wrong here?

    EDIT: DW, i edited the ODBC stuff again and they all work now, expect when i open WorldServer.exe it opens waits 3 secs, then it goes to (not responding).... i wait ages and nothing happens.... idk what the go is there....


    EDI:T Ok i cant find this account creating sql, so im stuck with no account lol. I found an sql file, but i dont think its the right one, you say its VERY VERY easy to make an account, makybe it is, if i could find the right file lol...

    I can't seem to be able to create an account and get it working, everything else works fine to my knowledge.

    I have an idea that it might be the NeuzUnique I downloaded, I've read that every NeuzUnique has a different 'SALT' and as your link isn't working I might be using the wrong SALT...

    Is their a mirror? Or do you have any other idea what it can be?

    - Okay, so I just tried to log into it using the NeuzNoSunkist.exe using the 'SALT' "serus", it works up until the very last step, connecting from the character selection screen, after checking the SQL Account and Character tables it looks like the Character has actually been created successfully, any idea on how I can actually get into the game now?

    - Another update: I got into the game! :D I edited the NeuzNoSunkist.exe like the tutorial said, and that seemed to work... So why does the tutorial say you need NeuzUnique? :/
