    i can't log in on mssql server management studio express i get the error
    message:A network-related or instance specific error occurred when a connection would be established to SQL Server. Server not found or was not available. Make sure the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (Provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 53)


    so i think i didn't understood where i should put what in the login screen.

    so can anyone post a more detailed way to do it or be so nice and put a screenshot xD

    For Login Detail Incorrect, I do like this :

    Creating An Account

    This is how you create an account, the CORRECT way.

    Find the dbo.CREATEACCOUNT procedure in the release section, it is posted by Reimniess.
    DO NOT USE the dbo.ASP.createaccount OR ANYTHING like that, they DO NOT WORK!

    Execute the SQL you get from his post and make sure it is executed in the ACCOUNT_DBF databases.

    Then go to the procedure and EXECUTE it.

    You should see two fields you need to fill. Put in your USERNAME in the first one. MAKE SURE IT IS ALL LOWERCASE.

    Then go to here MD5 GENERATOR and in the field put in serusadmin.

    Then click the md5 button at the bottom and you should get

    Code:

    ef9e8ddbf4e00ffef8991065a3fdef8c

    copy and paste that and put it into the password field under your username.

    Now press EXECUTE and execute the script, now you should have an account with the password "admin" with no "" around it.
    Make sure you have putting your correct data in :

    1. ACCOUNT_TBL
    2. ACCOUNT_TBL_DETAIL


    Just another way to create and login ingame

    i know that but i mean when i start mssql server management studio express
    i need to connect to the sql server and i just get incorect login information. i will send a screen but it's in swedish.

    where exactly is that DATABASE folder you mentioned? issit inside mssql folder?

    Can i do "New database" instead of "Restore Database"? i cant seem to pass this part.
    When i tried to follow your guide, and Restore Database, put ACCOUNT_DBF on it, and select from device, i cant see the .bak file im looking for.

    I tried adding database and put Names such as u mentioned, and execute v15 database i downloaded from ur link. and executed them. will this work?

    Hello, great guide and everything...even tho the solid release and tutorial I seem to run into this particular problem which seems to stay whatever I do.

    The problem I'm talking about is that I get stuck at "Connecting. Please wait." when Ih've put in my ID and PW, I come to the next screen and choose Server and Channel, everything works until this part when it just stays put at that and wont do shit...I have tested to re-write my IP to Localhost IP (127.0.0.1) and my local network ip (192.168.x.x) and my external IP (whatismyip.com) and nothing seems to work at all...
    Would be really nice if someone could just help me with this as soon as possible :3

    Could you please explain how to make an admin account?

    by admin i assume you mean an account in which chars have item codes ect... i ran the .sql in a query in ACCOUNT_DBF but it doesnt really do anything instead of query successful it just says "

    (0 row(s) affected)"

    also i'm getting the "connecting" lock up, but i reshacked and set the IP to 127.0.0.1 as mentioned... still does this xD helps?

    love the guide got the server up with no problems having issues with the client D: res hacked every neuz i could get my hands on none of them work so I'm lost right now ._. never have issues i can always get this crap to work lulz

    but the thing is the server loads fine so i really don't know wtf is going on my v14 server loads perfect can get ingame and everything
