Hi! I want to make Silkroad server but do not want to use 2GS , recommend me any file server to make a 1 GS ?
There is possibility of using CSRO -R 1 GS files ? 8GB RAM ?
I'll be grateful for any advice! :)

Re: 1 GS or 2GS
You can run any of the server file's on 1 gameserver, just don't open all area's. So really just run the server files that you want the most.

Re: 1 GS or 2GS
C-SRO technical and "mechanical" hosting is the same like any other pSRO out there.
There is no difference about ODBC interaction, file parsing, merging and updating, nor the fact that "C-SRO cannot handle all towns".
It is just buggy at its current state (like 193 vSRO).
Fix them. Divide the monster count by 1,3 at least. Open all regions/towns you want. Have fun.
Hosting 2 Gameservers (doesn't matter which SRO-Files you choose, 8GB is not really adviced for it) should be recommended only if you are owning more than 12GB of solid RAM sets. The fact for 2 GSs would be: more mobs. Players will share the initial traffic on each module node.
May cause less ping based lag, and as well region specific delaying, but not as good as people would might think. It is just low on its purpose.
Stick to 1 GS and you are good to go.
To the 2 GS require twice the protection and such requirements - hell no. Multiple forwarding and node selection - fetching, should be a known term.
You still just need one thing of each tool for max efficiency.
CSRO-R is fine, but needs some love.
vSRO 188 are still the best files for proper scritping, content additions, and so on.
twSRO has some restrictions, e.g. no Fellow Pet stuff, needs modifications for new regions, etc.
Others not tested.
