Changing region, language, query processing in the ODBC, etc. won't fix anything. I have the same issue and also using windows 7. I doubt it is because of windows 7, since ServicePacks has updated any kind of server issuing.
well i will try to help maybe can solve ur problems guys if you dont got service pack 1 installed install it if you got uninstall and install back solved to me
