    You surely need some knowledge in terms of "browsing/searching/handling files" ...
    Unpack your media.pk2 into a standalone folder, that folder will be your own personal resource area.
    Don't edit anything in there, unless you know what you do. Use it as a backup.

    Now to the editing:
    Open up the "media.pk2" folder, hold down CTRL and press F (search function of the windows explorer), type in "intro".
    Got the files? Guess which one has been set as your intro (china_wharf, constantinople, roc, etc.).
    Now open up all .txt/.ini files in your media.pk2 folder (CTRL+F with the condition ".ini" or ".txt" at the root of the media.pk2 folder), recommendable, in Notepad++ and do the same trick here, CTRL+F and search for one of the intro names on all open text files.

    Rest is up to you.

    If you cannot succeed in editing a simple intro, then developing on existing game files, then this ain't anything for you.
    If you succeeded in editing it, congratz, but don't start digging around "IMMA BAWZ". Requesting help for that kinda simple things is just ... pretty lower than amateur-editing-skill level.

    My song name is "egypt_town_alexandria1.ogg" when I replace for my song with the same name and edit my music.pk2 I can't open the sro_client...
    Normally open the Launcher, select "start" I get the "sro_client" window will open when the game "start screen section" this is closed.

    Are you sure using the same correct file format (.ogg) with the same compression and bit like the old audio files?
    Do a check. Take another song file from music.pk2, which joymax included there previously, rename your "egypt_town_alexandria1.ogg" to "blah.ogg" and use the "egypt_town_alexandria1" for the new one, which you are going to use.

    This should work.
    If it is working (and it will, for sure), then you are somehow using the wrong conversion (MP3 to OGG in this case, probably).
    Figure out the details on pre-existing *.ogg files. Try to accomplish them (in Adobe Audition, for example (where to get it? world wide web ...)) while converting different file extension.

    Re: How to edit Intro Song

    The intro song is defined in file "\Media\config\option.txt" Line IntroBGM = "egypt_town_alexandria1.ogg"

    Code:
    //StartProcess = "CPSLoadingMission"
    StartProcess = "CPSVersionCheck"
    //Map = "0"
    StartCharacter = "1907"
    StartWeapon = "0"

    IntroName = "script\intro\constantinople.txt"
    IntroBGM = "egypt_town_alexandria1.ogg"
    You can add any song you like in Music.pk2 The new songs must be encoded to .ogg For the file name better use name only with lowercase chars.Last time i use this website to convert media to ogg and everything was ok
    Regards
