Improve SR_ShardManager

Hi i want to improve my shard manager and i want tips :D
There are 900 + people online in the server.

See this please:


This is common in my shard.

Sometimes goes to 11k + ms and faculty [3]

Any tips ?

thats really weird lol
our shard/gs gets 3-4k ping when we get ddosed
is your server on 100mbps or 1gbps port?
and which server if yours?^^

My server is 100 mbps port (i have 2 gs)

Are your servers running in the same network? If the shard and gameservers are connected over the internet it might slowly increase the delay not sure why this was.

Also the download server is known for messing stuff up so try to close it or run it at another server just to see if this makes a difference.

Right now im testing with only 1 gs and still doing the same.
I will try moving the download server to the second dedicated server :)
I think the problem is db side but i dont know where o_O

Possible issues from experience:

Hundreds of people disconnecting simultanously.
Query timing out
SQL Express being used with a maximum RAM limit (also causes SR_Shardmanager.exe OnExit() Errors @ fatallogs)
Log DB just huge.
Fucked up Indexes or just missing cuz lazy db dudes love removing em to be able to use the EDITMODE more freely.
Database located on a Different server.
