    ItemData Stack Issue

    Hey there.
    I have a common issue.
While I gathered the itemdata together, to set up my server with it, it actually worked.
Well, that my server stack capacity is the regular one (like Arrows 250 max, Elixirs 1 max, etc), so the itemdata.txt files WON'T be the same. They have ridiculous amount of stacks. For arrows 75000+, Health pots 50000+, etc.

As only asking for, I am searching for some stock itemdata files with the regular and necessary extensions (like D12, D13, D14 strings, flags, structures, etc., and yeah.).
Anyone willing to help with it?

I also tried to get the itemdata from my server, which actually should work, but the client will shut down after the loading-banner.
I am trying to solve this problem for 4 weeks, but nothing helps.
Every "Service: 0" string removed. Any kind of "SPACESPACESPACE.........SPACETAB" gaps replaced with a single "tab" gap.
Removed every not used string (like structures, or 500% Test Speed strings).

I also reused my old itemdata files, which are working flawless, set them up in excel, sorted by number and reentered them to the specific itemdata files = crashing.
    Non sorted = works
Nothing changed, just sorted by ID = crashes.
    Is it somewhere hardcoded?

    Re: ItemData Stack Issue

It is always the same "alex_tilegrass02.bms"
That "error string" shows up everytime, even as I failed with editing the skills (enc was bitching around), another time with skilleffects, some magicoption stuff, etc.
That statement upon error report is just a failure of joymax's report caching system.

So, tilegrass02 is just a false report, and non other objects are mentioned at the dmp file.
checked via bsr, bmt, ddj, etc.

    Re: ItemData Stack Issue

Well, it should work, since I just extracted the string from the database, the items with their links.
I am running out of ideas what to do else.
As I just extract them, they are 1:1 sync with the server, so I don't know why and what is bitching.

I already tried the option, just trying each string / itemdata file and watch which causes the error.

    Re: ItemData Stack Issue

    Regular vsro 110 db.
It wasn't bitching around, whatever I try to add to it. Successfully added all D12 and D13 content. Added few parts of arabia, petra's dungeons etc.
But somehow the client is just making issues while I try to sort the whole item list.

    Notepad++ and over 50.000 entries ... that isn't funny ^^

I have a query which will list my items at a proper part, but without the "Link" part added behind it.
Anyone knows a procedure about that one?

    Addition:
Srsly ... I am going to get a freak on this stupidity. No matter if I now can copy the whole item list from the objcommon + objitem from the database (only service 1 ones) and paste them for the each itemdata#####.txt
    For 5000.txt = 1 to 4999
    For 10000.txt = 5000 to 9999 and so on

It will always crash the client. I am at the end of my nerves

If anyone can solve that issue, would be glad:

Would be glad if someone could check the files and may confirm my work that I am actually not mistaken anything.

    Re: ItemData Stack Issue

i never worked with 110, but txts looks ok (tabs when tabs are need)

only diference i found (and ofc im talking about 188) is for example, when you put 9,1 i have 9.1 (commas replaced with dots for values like dmg), no idea if that is the problem, but try that

    Exactly that was the issue!
Even SQL Server Management was spitting out the recorded files with "," as a set of decimal. Thank you very much!
That could be as well the issue why my other moddings didn't worked while trying to launch the client.

    Thank you! :)
    A simple format issue ... geez ^^

Just my last issue would be about the Giants.
They are walking ridiculously fast and attacking from an unlimited range (just getting out of visual sight will stop them to attack)

Any clue about that one :o

The only thing I can assure myself is, that this is server sided. Something at the nest tables probably. Couldn't figure it out..

about range,_reftactics -> nSightRange (if im not wrong)

Hm, just watched about the objcommon part, seems everything fine. Range of 20 to 180 speeds (in some cases 200 for uniques or their clones).
Didn't found any other suspicous value on tactics either. Some spots valued with 1000 but I guess that shouldn't be the hang with this issue.
