[SOLVED]Client error (½ÇÅ©·Îµå°¡ ÀÌ¹Ì ½ÇÇà Áß ÀÔ´Ï´Ù)

I followed a guide and created a server based on vSro 1.88. To start I could play in it using edxLoader on the same computer, but I wanted to play with some friends and they couldn't connect. I then followed some guides to run the server with a public ip but then it keeps giving me an error. I changed the configurations of the server to use the wan ip and the server runs fine. The only thing I did to the client was change the ip with pk2 editor on the media pack.

The error is a weird string, and the only solutions I found online was about firewall but I checked and got all ports opened.


Can you guys help me out or give me some tutorial I could try?

are you using router to connecto to internet? maybe the router is blocking your port

open it using loader, you cannot run client via launcher from the same pc as the server running

yes, my computer is connected using router. but I opened all the necessary ports and checked if they were opened. I even use the DMZ option on the router to open all ports but it still gives me that error

I used the loader to open on same computer, the thing is that I wanted to play with some friends and I couldn't even connect their computers on LAN. That's the reason I tried to configure the server to use a public IP. How can I configure the client to open the game through launcher?

Hi RevoLand, I actually used your tutorial to get the server running so thanks for that!
I was trying to find a way to get the game to launch without edxLoader, the only thing I did was editing the server IP from media. Do you have some tutorial to get the game to work from the client launcher? My idea is to open the server to public after getting everything running smoothly.

if router is using NAT, you must redirect (redirect and open are 2 diferent things) ports on router (if what i did for my tp-link 941nd router)
