Believe me ive gone through every thread there is here including out of ragezone blogs just to be able to fix this one remaining problem.

"Character failed to be processed" - for remote computer (with other WAN address)


I wondered if episode 9 have something special to adjust so this problem be solved.

Im working this out for almost 2 weeks and stilll same problem.

Heres what ive done so far

(Using MSSQL server 2012 / Windows 7)

- Fixed RANGAME1 from Seifer applied
- SQL script applied
- GraveYard Column added
- Fixed RANUSER applied
- Firewall disabled completely
- AntiVirus disabled
- Configured and enabled Protocol for SQLexpress TCP/IP in SQL server management configuration
- Port forwarded all server ports (im using static ip)
- Used IP Interceptor (this solves outside login connection up to character selection - I wonder why I need to run this to get from server selection through char selection when i have static IP forwarded)
- All ports can be seen using "canyouseeme.org".
- I tried Hamachi without any problem.


Without IP Interceptor I can go only up to Server Select - Channel Select Screen.

Hope i can get help from guys out there who encountered same problem and able to solve it.

Network client no problem and No error message whatsoever in server but outside client cannot login and stuck in character selection "Character Failed to be processed".

you tried to use VMware or any virtual PC to play? since you have'nt included that in your post maybe you not tried it yet

Okay? I see. The way you forward your ports is what makes your game not work.

Whats confusing is that all forwarded ports can be seen using "www.canyouseeme.org" and im out of idea what else to do maybe something inside the cfg or the port number im using but I dont know where and what to look.

Cause of problem: Bayantel 1.5MB static ip connection.
Perma Solution: Avoid using bayantel when serving, they issue a weird modem/router that cant do properly port forwarding.

Temporary Solution: IP Interceptor v1.09

Why don't? I am using BayanTel DSL 3mbps plan and their good even the new router i request for replacement is perfect.. Anyways just buy a dedicated server to ease your remaining problems and also ur server will be available 24/7

nice good for you, maybe the connection speed is the problem im only using 1.5mbps. Without ip interceptor i can go as far as channel selection page. Cant connect to my field server using remote pc (wan). But I wonder why i can connect and play without a problem using hamachi and ip interceptor but cant without.

Hamachi and IP interceptor bypass port forwarding and I have configured my port forwarding as it should be as far as i comprehend or maybe theres something in the bayantel router that I need to enable or disable.

My ports are detectible using "www.canyouseeme.com" and wonder why the client can only see the login server if ipinterceptor is turned off.
