whats ur server specs? it might be low of memory i guess.
If you over-edit ur char too much it creates rollback and errors, depending on ur client its usually safe to say 20k for all except vit only 15k for vit, and dont use shammy buffs, it might oush u over the top then. Also GM Speak use & and then the text ^^
You are adding too many stats, over maxing your chars...... like i said before 20k for each except vit 15k and dont use shammy buffs then the prob should be fixed. Also, if your weapons have too many ++ then ur dmg will be low and effected, so if ur int is already 20K best to make your weapon only +40.Quote:

Thanks for the advise. Sorry for the late reply, having trouble keeping track of posts. hehehe. I changed the stat and skill gain per level to 4 and 2 respectively and my stats do not reset anymore when I logout.
Does anyone know how to add ep4 weapons and skills?
I tried using ran philippines client (1.4 gb) ...need new exe file ^^,
I guess it must be because its already ep3 or higher (I dont play ran anymore so I dont know much ^^,)

Need HELP I extract my glogic.rcc to edit some files like exptable, Bus Station.set and Bus Station.ini...
NOW... how can I update my glogic.rcc to activate all my edit files???
how can I put back the extracted files to RCC. files???

simple answer use winrar again to extract your edited files back to ur glogic.rcc // add and replace the old UNedited files.
Note:backup your old glogic incase problem arises

I'm almost done making my server....I just need help with some things:
1. Sample error in my session server:

[Add Map] w_school_03_in_33.Lev / [142/0]
The server starts by the way...I just keep getting these [Add Map] messages. Not sure if they will affect the game.
2. How do you add new items and skills. like EP4 items to your existing files.
3. How do you change the GUI, WHIZ's GUI is blue green.
4. Error message when my client log's out, not sure it's a problem:

here is what you are going to do to shout your GM char
1. go to your server files folder then run your servermanager.
2. put your ip and on to the port blank put 5003
3. type words on the long blank there then click send..there you go look at the game there is shouting GM ^_^,V

Again thanks for the advise. After 3 weeks of hard work, late nights and going to work late, I'll be launching my server this week. I wouldn't have been able to it without the help of everyone here in Ragezone. A big THANK YOU to everyone.
Does anyone have a link to Jolin88 ep4 weapons thread? All I've been able to find are EP4 elemental weapons and the quigong weapons. I'll be working on adding these to my server next.

ERROR REPORT - RAN ONLINE

Open up your SQL Manager, whatever it is that you use and head to the RanUser database.
Now, open the ServerGroup table. Below are the values you need to fill in:-
SGNum : 1
SGName : Whatever you want your server name
OdbcName : RanGame1
OdbcUserID :
OdbcPassword :
OdbcLogName : RanLog
OdbcLogUserID :
OdbcLogPassword :
Once done, open up the ServerInfo table in the RanUser database.
Then put in these values.
SGNum : 1
SvrNum : 1
SvrType : 4
Now, run the GMCharEdit. If this is your first time running it
you'll see 4 fields to input information.
First field : RanUser
Second field : your windows username
Third field : your windows password
Fourth field : your windows password
Now all you need is a GM account make an account with UserType 30 in the UserInfo table, Full
control of GMCharEdit.exe..
Just key that in and watch as it automatically connects!
