hi! newbie here~
i m making ep4...
i've juz install those 3 programs and as i follow ur 1st , 2nd, 3rd instruction...
which is " open RanGame1.spl with microsoft SQL server management studio express 2005, then press connect, then execute and refresh database."...
but after i pressed execute, it jumped out this...

@nortonpc - use gm commands if you are playing w/ the server pc
@tampalasan - open the data/glogic - open the glogic and find the CrowStrTable then change the names of whatever you want to change

your files in client data folder should be same w/ the server data folder

icedbox2002 - dont double post... about ur first post. use gm commands... in your second post look at seifer's guide there is a 97%complete database by TENZUO

Hi guys. Is there a link where I can download installer of the RAN offline? I mean When I install it I could play the game right away no editing etc.? thanks. By the way nice tuts but its really hard to do so..

making a Pserver is trials & error lots of thing to edit

Hi all, newbie here in setting-up my own server. I started setting it up 2 days ago and finally got the server to run. I'm using my old RAN china client (www.ranonline.com.cn). All the server's are fine but whenever I try to connect my client, it only shows "Internet Connection Falied". I did change the settings in my cfg folder and changed the IP addresses to 127.0.0.1. And I also have this error in my session server:

I did everything [Owner: sa][Password: changed][ODBC has been added into registry][Date folder been coypied to Server folder][I didn't change any IP because I want to try this offline,Alone], but this keep show up. In SvrSession.exe. I read the first page but it didn't help, or may be I missed out something. The only thing I might get confuse is by double clicking the "odbc2k5.reg" and press Yes to add to registry, Ok = ODBC done? I'm using Window xp server pack 3.

hi all, newbie again here. I finally got my server to run as well as my client. thing is, whenever i run my GMCharEdit, I always get an error that says "GM DB open failed".
Anybody encountered the same problem before? Please help me. And thanks in advance.
