[HELP]always disconnected

Here is my problem... my server is working fine, many players are connected, but when one player try to connect in the game ( after he chooses his/her character ) after the character loading, it says " you have been disconnected, do you wish to quit game, this problem dont happen rarely, it happens often

In my server's case.... (LAN server only)... characters can't connect after the server has been up for about 6 to 8 hours. I'd have to restart the server everytime that happens. I definitely don't have slow processor or ram issues. The server works flawlessly for the first 6 hours straight and just begins to hiccup after that and refuses to allow new characters to join in. But those already playing in the game aren't affected and are just fine.

If this also happens to you then you're not alone, dude. Nobody can seem to isolate this problem much less offer a definite solution to it.
Definitely, not a "Paging File" issue because I've tried that remedy already and it just didn't solve the problem.

Just happened to my server recently. My server runs on 4-5 days straight without shutting down the server. After a few cases that some body accidentally plug out the power of the server(maybe a 2 or 3 times happens), that problem appears.

I think the connection of the database and the access of the database of one of the server(maybe the agent server) is the main problem of this.

I suggest to backup first your database, then back from zero on installing your ran server. Or in other words you must refresh your server connections (database/internet).

Thats only my suggestion.

That's well taken cared of. I'm operating a LAN only server so it's very easy to know when players can't connect properly. probably, an OS issue. (Never tried using Linux yet...only Windows)

You RAN server admins over the net probably don't realize it but some of your players are having a hell of a difficult time in trying to connect to your servers. Most of them probably are just too polite to even complain. LOLz....

One such example of a private server with that kind of problem is RAN Phoenix owned by Sir Jolin88 here. Players are stuck waiting at that Character Select screen until they get disconnected in a while. And only a server reset seems to remedy the problem.

And server admins don't even admit that that is happening. Servers are discreetly reset without so much as anybody other than the admin knowing that it's been done. Presto... no more connection problems until a few more hours later and the vicious cycle starts all over again.
