How to use the editors

Newbie here, I've read around the forum and guessed that you really need to have a know-how of using the editors. Now any tips/tutorials on how to exactly use them? Hope someone can give an example of an editor and what files it edits...

Make a copy of your client then paste your tools there.
Each tools has different functions although for basic and starting just extract your glogic.rcc level.rcc on the same folder make sure it is decrypted & Bang try open some tools like item editor bla bla bla

for level editor/mob npc you can search all guides here.

Oh, alright I'll start tinkering there. May I know exactly what kind of "extracting" I will do? And how do decrypt the rcc files?
