Happy Holidays Ragezoners !!!

I would like to ask the proper way to host the EP4 on LAN only. I manage to create the Server Side and have the Client Side running smoothly (on the same PC).

The problem was when I try to run the Client Side on another PC, it won't connect ... "Internet connection failed..."

check ur param.ini if you have param.txt check it if the same IP ir ur Server Check ur CFG!

Did that already, the Client is running okay on the PC with the Server on it but it won't connect on other PC on my network.

i think ur unsing 127.0.0.1 thats why u can connect in same PC
change everyhting in param with real LAN IP as wll as the CFGs in server side
not the loop back IP

and before anything else
use seach button
this has been discused since the ran private server started
just imagine how old this topic was

Yup, i have been searching for the solution but what's bugging me is that I can play on the same PC (the one with the server files on it) but not on other PC on my network... i had already changed the IP 127.0.0.1 to my own LAN IP.

why dont you try hamachi ip?

yup, i tried that also and yield same result.

Maybe, i should should ask... is this method right >>> copying the CLIENT folder (the file that is working on the Server Side) unto another PC?

yup, my ODBC had been configured correctly.. the Server is running without error and I could play without errors on the same PC too.





The only trouble is playing on another PC on my network... "Internet Connection Failed".

try to change ip's
using hamachi ip

first install hamachi
server and client computer
create network
then if you already created
a network on your server
your client must
connect to server's hamachi network
after that change all old ip's
to hamachi ip's...!

or if you don't like
to use hamachi
do the port forwarding or use Ip Intercept!

Still no luck... i reconstructed another server on one of my PC yielding same result. Only there can I play my Client.

I tried LAN IP and Hamachi but to no avail, same results can't connect with the other PC on my network.

Tomorrow i'll check my modem and router maybe there is an internal problem in my system...
