    IP Routing

    HI all,

I would just like to know if this is possible.

I will host my ran server on my Local PC, and I got my own VPS.

What I want is that since my Local PC is much better when it comes to specification it can handle more player but i don't want to use my IP address, since my VPS has a high speed bandwidth.

Is it possible for me to use my VPS IP Address while my Local PC Runs the server?

If yes please let me know how to set-up.

    Thanks

possible but you need to code a program to handle client request though look weird for me:P

gamer /user send request to vps , then vps act as gateway then forward to your host pc. then host pc response sent back to vps then to user. looks laggy in realtime since still your host pc require stable speed of internet to accommodate traffic and request came from vps. same thing when host to vps.. anyway vps can handle 100 players without any problem i test it, I even using vps in my host.. very cheap. a proper exe threading is required to run server smooth in very low resources availability. dedicated is to much. u just waste money like i did before. i thought buying to much resources/highspeed processor and even high speed ports and internet remove your lag problem.. what i discover is server transmit only few bytes of data,. take note im talking in byte not kilobyte nor megabyte.. so why waste money// try to use packet monitoring tools. and u see.. u can even calculate how many player can handle in 1 gb ram in 1MBPS stable network..
