    [problem] hosting ran online classic ep7 4 class

    Good Day Ragezoners!

    I have configured all the files, my servers(LOGIN, FIELD, AGENT, SESSION) are running, I have already port forwarded all ports in cfg, allow all the ports on my firewall, and updated my param.ini file (I used my WAN IP). I tried to test my client on Virtual Machine, it runs, no errors if I used LAN IP on my param.ini, but when I use my WAN IP on param.ini, it has error is says "Internet Connection Error, Do you want to quit RAN?".

    I tried also to test my client with the WAN IP on param.ini, using other PC not connected to the same network I used with my server, it allows me to choose server and channel( I have only one server and channel), but when I clicked the Connect button, it says "Server Connection Failed"..

    Please help me guys, I badly need your help :(

    Thanks a lot in advance and more power Ragezoners!

    You can use canyouseeme.org to check if you have successfully opened the ports.

    You can also check your CFG ports.

    Does the server source come with logs in the data folder or anything like that, which can display the error itself or the conflict?

    The messages are too blurry to see, but is there any other specific message other then “connection failed”. I’m also wondering whether you can open ‘Task Manager’ to see whether you’ve got anything else using those specific ports?

    what ports is it using?

    Alright but can you do the following.

    1) What ports is your server using?
    2) Close the server down
    3) open task manager and see If anything is using these ports

    @arwekaj09

    Can you open your CMD and run the following commands

    netstat -aon | findstr '[port_number]'
    Do this with each individual ports that your server is processing/using, and once this is done: feel free to send it back as a reply.
