Rancp Error

Guys I have an error while Im on the process of setting up my ran cp! it says
Connection with SQL Server failed! Error #119

Now on the installation of the cp it says.

*Note* If You Are Using SQL Server 2005, Don't Put IP, Put The SQL Server Name!
From Where To Get SQL Server Name? Open SQL Server Service Manager, And The Name Of Server: SQL Server Name <- SQL Server Name

I have no Idea how to do that. can anyone help me with this?
