    Re: [See] my Modem Setup

lol, even your direct connected to your modem, you can't use WAN IP
    to RUN your server.....wahahaahah

not so bad, but if you have a static IP your so lucky for a stable connect
without making update to autopatcher for your param.ini, try to port forward
coz' even your in direct modem your need to port forward also...

    just use BOTH..
and don't forget to select the server IP before forward...

try to find Advance botton, if no botton name "Advance"

    Re: [See] my Modem Setup

follow my instructional video on how to broadcast your server using bridge connection. lucky you are to have a static ip since you will exert less effort configuring your server.

    Re: [See] my Modem Setup

the only difference in setting up a bridge connection are the ISP's and the modem but generally they the setup is the same. if you have a static ip (WAN IP), you should change your LAN IP to WAN IP to connect/broadcast the server and no port forwarding is needed. but, if you invoked the router function of your dsl modem then you will need to forward the LAN ip and all server ports.

    Re: [See] my Modem Setup

i will try to remotely check your ip and see if it's already visible. try also these steps to get your wan ip..... pm me your ip address ^^

    > set your lan ip to "obtain ip address automatically"

    > go to command prompt and type ipconfig/all

    > you will now see the ip address, subnet mask, default gateway, dhcp servers and dns server.

    > write it down....

    > go to LAN properties and click on "use the following ip address,

    > replace the ip address, subnet mask, default gateway and the preferred DNS server with the one you have taken from the command prompt

    > click ok and you're done

    > open your browser and check if you have an internet connection

    > if you have, then you can move on the next step.....
