Demonsetup wrong? Last Location wont save and cant create guilds?

I've never been the best decoder of error messages. But my immediate guess would be it's failing to write to the database (in both cases) Have you recently changed something?

i also thought about sql, and setted up another sql install (on another server) but this time with sql 2005. as it seems, its the same problem with 2005 and 2008 R2 :x

Lol, if this is what holding you back from opening a private server "RYL 2 Destination" that's pretty sad if you ask me, why even start another noob HC private server run by HC Donations? You won't get anywhere... trust me it's a waste of time. Your server will just get ddos'd and you will cry in the annoucement forum asking players to donate or server wil die...

Some words of wisdom..

If you make a server, make it for the players.... don't make it so you think you can keep the server alive from gathering the donations from the players, that makes no sense. Spend out of pocket money from your own investment to help. And I recommend removing your thread in your announcement section on the forums, it looks like the server is run by abunch of 12year old kids.... that ask questions on ragezone to help get there server up.. LOL

Now if you really want to get help, I recommend you do the following:

-Find stealthy's youtube channel and try to talk to him nicely over there

-sign up on alpha's forum, suck up to him, send him a message, try to get some advice

-Do the same with XOR/morbid/chapolin/etc/etc/etc

There is also 4-5 other users on here that actually can help you, but you need to find them and google there username/find hints on where they post, find where they were last active at, get in touch with them... send them messages be nice. Hey, your GM-Pink right? Maybe you can even show them your tits on msn for some source code, those returnofwarrior admins would love to finally get some americano vay jay jay once in a while...


It looks to me like you're just in it for the money.... This song should fit your server well, you better make it the theme-song and get a music player like ryl2con dot com has, maybe you can remix the song with his ghetto ass song "Power by Kanya West" on his ryl 2 server's website..... LOL.

Also, you wont get anywhere opening another noob hc private server.... If you wan't to succeed, make it softcap, or the same rates as hades/cib/server, and get a good nice dedicated server and get some actual GM's u know in real life, instead of hiring noob maylasian players that think they are good "GM's" if they played the game for 10years, lol, what a joke....

Your server is going to be trash, just live up to it... You will never compete with ruins or returnofwarrior or ryl online. Why? because you are no body in this business they don't give a flying f*ck about what you do.

They all are laughing there ass off because they see you reading ollydb code your whole life, while they sit there in there visual studio program editing "ACTUAL readable source" code, inside Client.exe.... LOL


Plus, that theme song I showed you, thats what it's all about the MONEY, go look at returnofwarrior, i mean atleast they don't make it so you can buy TRIPLE A Items... just imagine if they did that, it would be exactly the same like having your server sell FHC donation items lol. Your server will die and never compete with anyone. Why do all RYL 2 HC Servers die? because of donation, no one wants FHC Donations. Figure out a different way to get players to donate, buy ice/tobs/scream mask is fine/etc but NOT FHC... idiotic idea..


Moral of the story is.... go get some connections with people that are close to RYL2/RYL/ROW development and suck up to them, be nice to them and get a server going, get a team.. you said ADM-Black has a part time job now right? so WHY The F do you think you can handle this all by yourself? Because you come here and ask questions and you think you can get all your answers on ragezone?

Also, go work and save some money up and hire a graphic artist to actually make you a nice banner... i swear you guys have the crappiest looking banners/logo's for RYL I have ever seen.....

Or just download photoshop illegally if you wish, and look up some tutorials and figure it out yourself? It's really not that hard. And why hasnt this been done yet? Cause you think your main website looks "PRO" which fails cause then I think that you are childish thinking that way. So I won't sign up to play (Or others..) I don't want a person thinking that there main website is a nice looking website (When it looks like sh*t, just like ryl-destintion| go look at RYL2DOTORG even they had the audacity to download a nice theme for free and you cant? Newman you might want to spend a bit more time researching before posting like that. You might think your real pro because you were able to track down the server he's referring to, which fyi has been up for about a year now (at least 10 months).

Your advice has without a doubt been the best, and I agree the owners of destination seriously need to shape up, it is pathetic they make no apparent effort to solve it, but instead just go crying to ragezone for the solution. And if it were up to me they really need to stop selling FHC gear for donations. But then again I can't think of playable (not empty) RYL2 server that didn't do that, so I guess we should blame that on the game rather than the server.

tl;dr Although you gave the best advice (that was hard to beat) you need to stop being so cocky, you failed just as hard as destination did.

actually newman, you failed more than me or destination will ever do, because if you would do some research at the homepage/website you would see that FHC Donations wasnt bought one single time! its just in there, for those who havent got time to make the weapons on their own. :-)

owh, and by the way, the topic wasnt created by me as you can see. one of our gm's created it, to tell the players whats going on and tell them im quite busy with my own life.

Here's how to solve your problem: Try to think of what's different about the server since the problems began. Try setting everything the exact same way it was before the problems began. With logic and patience you can solve any problem yourself.

But of course if your one and a half jobs take up so much time you can't do any of that (lol) then

I actually like destination, and I want to see it up again, but when you make no apparent effort to solve this yourself (this thread was made the same day the server went off) I can't be bothered trying to help you.

Well jerry if you played destination then you know we went down in april, not in may.
Anyway, of course everything is like before, i was working since 4 weeks on this problem only, and thought it was fixed, but nvm ill figure out a way for myself and just take the time i need.
Thought this forum is for helping people, but the most comments you get is either rubbish or flaming kids that thought that they did good research to flame someone but failed hard.

Not everyone has an as* full of money (I guess you do, except your as* is already filled with huge blac* d***, lol.) That's why donations are actually needed to keep a server up and running. Of course, a little bit of self investment is unavoidable, but paying hundreds of euros per month for a server out of the own pocket + all the work you have to do for a server is just dumb. You need a lot of time to spend in creating and running a (good) server and you don't get any money for it. So at least you shouldn't lose money.

Anyways, the official RYLs failed badly so far, because most of these guys seem to be morons. Especially CIB, who weren't able to fix a few bugs with source codes, when private server admins fixed them with ollydbg.

Why don't you make a decent sc server? I would have done it ASAP when I had the money to rent a server.
