[Discussion - Graphical] What controls the transparency of fashion?

Hey guys,
I'm trying to figure out what controls the transparency parts of fashion on 1.4.4. Therefore, I'll create/reskin/remodel many many fashion and release them here.
A problem is, every materials in DDS files are the same as 1.3.6 and I think it comes from the model file (.ski) of the fashion.
Do you have any idea?

use a precious image editing suite i.e. gimp with support for channel composing/decomposing
