your table.xml is wrong. or you edited the wrong one. that is the ONLY thing that gives that error

    Re: matrix password cache missing

table.xml can be ANYwhere, it depends on where you 'call' it at the end of authd. I could put it in /fuck/me/hard/table.xml as long as that's where authd 'called' it...

The other thing is, I've also seen this error on my first 'test' of whatever release it was here for v145 as it could NOT find the mysql connector (because again, AUTHD didn't 'call' it). Some genius apparently left it out of just 'directly' 'calling' it (and instead inserted it as a 'classpath' 'call' =\)... SEE HERE about that one... Post #17 exhibited the same " java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver" error from authd just not having ":./lib/mysql-connector-java-5.0.8-bin.jar:" (instead of it being listed in some BS classpath)

remember to also check your mysql layout!
To do a check to see if authd has connected or not, view the active connections in your mysql server
