I got sent this skype chat log by PW nova, who are too worried about posting anything in case the attacks get worse. But I don't think he should get away with this without his players and reputation within dev community being affected.

It takes less than 15 messages before he threatens to DDOS them. A servers thats been around for just 4 weeks.

Regardless of who is on the receiving end of a DDoS attack, it is still wrong and using it as a scare tactic is just as bad in my opinion. Too many servers open up just to make money, which is why we have all this crap in the first place I reckon. How many servers out there now that have head GMs that actually want to run a server because they want to create a version of perfect world better then the original? Not many I bet.

Just yesterday a player on my server said in world chat they were surprised to see a server admin actually in game on his server. Which actually surprised me.

Most server owners don't spend much time on their own servers, Fake was like that, and a few others I played at some points. Even official GMs are almost never around. so it's quite a precedence for a GM/Owner to go on the game and about in world chat or in game running around
