Re: plz share working iweb/pwadmin
with the original one I have this "error" when I want to access the xml ID 16
Failed to get role info from the database, maybe this role didn't exist or access timed out. Please try again.
with iweb I can not change my character, so to change the character by default I create an account with "ID 16" is a long time without the xml, can anyone help me?

Re: plz share working iweb/pwadmin
for this I succeeded, but it is there way to make editing in xml rather when manual?
Re: plz share working iweb/pwadmin
on this way u can edit default ID / templates [ 16 - 30 ] if u need other chars go ingame > strg + g > display / dide player ID > go iweb > change role info > input role ID ... [ first time to connect to this IDs takes a little ] ... this are the only way to edit charackter atm

Re: plz share working iweb/pwadmin
Go to manage or role
*WARNING*:
In the future do NOT put your question in more than one place!
Re: plz share working iweb/pwadmin
I did everything as fgru said but my iWeb seems to load forever ... it never ends loading when I put my role ID there. At least I've got access to the ID 16 account with all the default info.
Can someone help me? :l
Re: plz share working iweb/pwadmin
I did notice sometimes it did that. First thing to assure (of course) is that all of the server daemons are up and running. Next, when and if this happens to you again, try the following. While it seems to be loading "forever", 'click' *STOP* within your web-browser... Wait 5 seconds and then attempt to *REFRESH*, it should then work. If not, repeat (stop then refresh) until it does. If even that does not work you can try pressing CTRL+F5 on your keyboard instead of a "normal refresh" (after you've STOPPED it from attempting to load the page)...
Also, may I suggest trying to use role NAME opposed to role ID.

Re: plz share working iweb/pwadmin
iweb seems to act like shit on a virtual machine... I tried on CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora... and it's still the same, it loads fine the first time then after that it does the "infinite loading page" everytime. I didn't have that issue on my dedicated server btw.
I even formatted my old laptot, put debian on it, installed a pwserver+iweb on it and I got nothing wrong with iweb. So... that's how I did my theory.
Re: plz share working iweb/pwadmin
I run my serveron a Virtual machine and have never had problems with the infinite load thingy, just requiried looking into the call port structure a bit more and finding that some were just locked down and therefor had to change what ports to use and all = green.
Re: plz share working iweb/pwadmin
I was even beginning to consider ram being a possible or partial culprit...
Because when I had my VM set to 8GB it would display these symptoms, but when I increased the ram for my VM to 16GB it either pretty much stopped, or did completely...

hi sx!
could you please describe your workaround a bit more detailed? this is basically the problem wich caused all my latest posts and all the fiddling around with iweb within the last days. im seriously about to go nuts... :glare:
