question about gshop

i notice when opening the unmodified gshop there is no prices set however when you open the gshop1.data the prices are set my question is shouldn't this be how the server should react instead of trying to set prices in gshop.data just adjust prices in gshop1.data. also had inquiry if anyone had an unmodified gshop1.data and gshop.data that will work with 145 server or what patch i could use that the gshop1.data etc .. work currently running v666 client because for some reason anything high up past 67 gets screwy

gshop.data and gshop1.data are 2 different gshops.
Setting the prices in gshop1.data has no bearing on gshop.data as they both serve different purposes.
I don't understand why you are using v666 client with 69 server...i would personally be seeking the answer as to why i couldn't run it with v670 client...that would just bug me to no end knowing i had to use a less updated client.
The clients reflect the server side changes, for example elementskill.dll and element.exe, not to mention all the .pck's, so anything past v670 client would not be compatible...just sit at v670 and no further.
You can update or change information in the.pck files down the track.
I'm taking a guess here and thinking maybe just maybe you could un-install your directX11 and put in dX9 and then after dX9 is installed then re-install your dX11- well that's just a huge guess as to why you could be having problems...and you would definitely have problems with any client past v670.

Post a picture or better definition of what you mean by 'screwed' up login box, the connection issue would be more likely with your serverlist.txt
I have never had a problem with my login box or any connection issue on v69 server files using v670 client, period.
Have a look at all the other 'up-to-date' servers out there using v670 clients, if they can do it and have it running and i also do, then your problem is as stated.

re-updated the client working fine now i think what happen before i started the patch i let the client update through server and reckon they tried downloading the sirens and things got screwed up everything fixed now.
