That made absolutely no sense to me <.<
NO is winning.. sad.
I say definitely yes! Considering the standard of your v136 release, it's a BIG FAT YES!! My vote got it up to 30, we need a few more :p And I really hope your wife "Ok's" the vote :P
So far i'm seeing posts of positive feedback (i voted yes myself), would those that voted no give reason, or are you all just spammers?
I was going to just leave my poll vote at yes...but seeing how the NO's are in-front i'll give a written vote of yes.
The only reason i can see a no poll is perhaps some people feel threatened by the prospect of EVERYONE being able to run this release. (343 makes it so easy a monkey could install)
WTF is this BS?Seriously not worth highlighting but the words of a fool. (can he see the giant L painted on his forehead?)Quote:
guess your not that popular yet !?......maybe try harder and get down form the sky and take less part for your friends and im sure all of us will like you.(ijs)
I will take 343 and his constant and positive helping support on these forums any-day over these arrogant remarks.
343 You are a champion for even considering to release and know that our household thinks highly of you.
I hope you do release.
I voted no, there is nothing wrong with giving back to the community..but things like 1.4.5 should require at least a tad bit of effort to get them up and running. From my standpoint, 1.4.4 was made ridiculously simple..and once it was, then everyone could have their own 1.4.4, with little to no knowledge of how to do ANYTHING. If you want to make a release, I would say go for it..but don't make it into a ready to go VM.
Just my opinion on it.
wow 343 1.4.5 release :w00t: i love 343 release in 1.3.6 server no errors and bugs before i don't like vmware when i started 343 release i am deleted vbox and using vmware i voted yes but who the fvk spammers vote no
Oh, no, it wouldn't be in a "ready to go VM" -- I am leaning more toward the side of just doing an "add-on" to my v136 release (if I do it) so that I can "properly" post it in this section and close it right away (like I did for my iWeb release) seeing as I have no intent to "support" it...
the 1.4.5 iweb is working good on my 1.4.4 server before my iweb not work on basic info of role and role XML your iweb work great
You got a like from me, cos you're the only one who voted "no" and had the balls to say why and gave good reasons for a "no" vote (even though I'm on the "yes" side :p )
gost0, I'm using 1.4.4 on vmware for the moment, am a vmware convert too! I'm saving up for something like this for running a proper test server.
Yes !!!
I've given you my opinions via yim. if anyone should do a release of 1.4.5 that is headache-free as can be, it's you. I still cannot get my 1.4.5 to connect, server is running, but client is throwing a fit.
I finaly voted "No" because everyone should start with 1.3.6 or 1.4.4 first and try learning how works the files before getting a hand on 1.4.5... I see no reason why everyone could get a ready-to-go package without almost no effort. The settings are almost the same since 1.3.6 and require just a bit of knowledges of the files (and a brain ofc) to make them work.
Well it took me maybe 1h or less to get a server almost functionnal when I got the package in my hands.
