lol i though i posted my no opinion but anyway.
I voted for no cause 1.4.4/1.4.5 isn't nothing for beginners that never done a server before. Beginners SHOULD make a 1.3.6 server and develop some and getting know to it before going for bigger releases as 1.4.4/1.4.5.
Voted no because I personally don't like 1.4.5. In fact when I reopen my server it will be as 1.3.6 and not anything above.

i kinda got a feeling that the ppl who already have 1.4.5 servers fear that noobs who don't know 10% about pw servers could overtake them in the private servers classament :|

Yes, I have to admit my release would probably be pretty simple to anyone and everyone to get running. My question to you personally is, have you downloaded and used my v136 release? If not then you should check it out and you will see how easy I have made things for people to get a server up and running. One of my personal favorite sayings is "it's so fucking easy I could teach an ape how to do it" because it is... Umm i idi get ur 1.3.6 and installed it ( about 10 times by now xD ) and i really enjoyed it .. no bugs .. smooth install .. it was really easy to customise and the admin notes were very usefull too ... a way to have fun with 2-3 friends (hosting it on my pc) :D so that is why i just can't wait for you to release a 1.4.5 version... JUST DO IT !!! (the 1.4.5 release)

Actually yes, so far it looks like it will (eventually) be done... I have just been really busy with RL shit again lately, so no guarantee as to when it will be done/released. Right now it was @ 190 votes w/ only 70 of those being for no, and 120 for yes... ... ... I do doubt that is going to change within the next week so I am leaning toward doing it (hence the vote)... It will just be a matter of time now
Add: I don't like how my first post says "1 week", so now I don't even remember the exact day I posted. I do recall saying 7~14 days though; so by the time it says "2 weeks" I will close it (the thread/vote) for good anyway... Like I did already say though the yes almost doubles the no, so; I doubt that will change by the time I close it, so I will begin working on it when I can

It will be the same (included w/) or an add-on to my v136 release. So technically, NO, it will not be "for" vbox, it will be for ANY type of set up or installation just like my v136. You will be able to do anything you want with it, run it on VMware, or VBOX, or hell the shitty CoLinux if you wanted to. You will also be able to install it how it should be, on a physical machine... ... ... If you are un-familiar with my v136 release you should go check it out now, then you'll know what to expect... ... ...
I think it would be friggin sweet to have you do the 145 server. Been using yer 136 for some time. Got frgu's 144 running also now, but, he's gone :( So yea, would love to see the 145 from you anyway ya wanna do it. I will make it work as I have all the others..
Yep, you would give an interesting take on 1.4.5...I don't know if you would try to "fix" things, or just make an easy release how it is now, but you always have an interesting way to make things balanced. I say go for it.

Okay, this thread actually went on longer than I had intended to let it live. It surely seems pretty clear, majority rules says "yes" by almost double.
Final count as of now (as of closing this thread/topic) are as follows:
YES - 133 (65.2 %)
NO - 71 (34.8 %)
TOTAL VOTES - 204
So, it will only be a matter of time until I do this release now. Again, I do not promise any estimated or specific release dates, or furthermore, I cannot even promise that I will get it done in a 'timely fashion'... All I am saying is, "I will do it", that is it. Nothing more, nothing less!
