temp1.htm issue

just wondering,

once i already edit the BBSPages/temp1.htm to my server info then run the PWI client, the temp1.htm reset to PWI info back? how to make it permenantly? does it related to any PCK files or any idea?

how to fix those?

Open "configs.pck > loginpage.ini" and change the line "LoginPage =" by the notice page of your website. Btw it doesn't support all HTML tag...

Open "bbsfiles > error.htm" and change the content to display an error message when your notice page is unavaible.

Yea, editing temp will do you no good. It is just as it is named, "temporary"... You should create a website, such as www,mysite,com and enter that in to the loginpage.ini in configs.pck (as everyone else has stated)... Then you can edit the error.htm located in bbsfiles to display whatever you want displayed when it cannot reach www,mysite,com...

Alternatively I made error.htm what I wanted it to display all the time, and made it the website 'listed' in loginpage.ini:

LoginPage = ../bbsfiles/error.htm
