Friend retraces step by step video or download it here at home was all quiet the only problem is the bid to kill 1 mob and go to char lvl 105 so far not managed to solve, or messing the file to decrease xp ..


must have something corrupted or that you should have configured wrong type the ip of the db, you did step by step to change the ip for their old directories in all the winscp? redo this step by step slowly to see if the error repeats, this error is lack of communication with the database

Thank you. Can I use 127.0.0.1 in all files? If yes its all correct

Also will I be able to login to the game in my machine if server is virtually hosted? (same ip)

well, if you use the vbox as explained ip will be different because the vbox will create a virtual machine, in this case the server pw you will put the ip of the vm for example, if your network has the ip 192.168.0.1 (router) and your pc ip 192.160.0.2 ip of your vm will be (example) 192.168.0.4 or another at this rate, this ip is that you have to change the file server where the video change orders, as well as the client on your machine real , but you will be able to log your real machine and the server on vbox. because there will be different ips although using the same pc.


Go easy on the walkthrough that you can, because I downloaded the same server and follow the video lesson by changing where it asks and it was just right ..

I actually use VMWare as I had issues to get it running with Vbox, is that a problem?

I will try to change the ips instead of 127.0.0.1... is that mandatory?

Also not using his files as can't download because idk how to download them all at once

I haven't had any errors in the install but i may be having a user error.
where do i put the edited elements.data on the server?
is it possible for this release? or am i just missing some thing really simple.

Edit: Well i take the no errors part back. i started the server with ./culti.sh and it said client version is to low. then when i started it with ./world.sh it said network error.

you'll want to place the elements.data in root/PWServer/gamed/config, be sure that you have the same elements.data and gshop/gshop1.data file in the client and server.

I got it working but now it says my client is old.

Well friend, I do not know honestly answer you, I got this here and follow the pasos by step video lesson just by changing where I quoted above, and was not in vmware (although I've always been fan of him) I'm currently using the vbox (including this iso is for vbox) and did not give an error until now, so I told you to go steady and redo, now we are using another file server other than this here, I think (in my opinion) that you should post where you can already caught be something different, anyway ... my tip is this, erase and redo everything from scratch obeying the walkthrough here this post .. and so change the ip in a single file does not mess around with anything else, not the 127.0.0.1 ^ ^

I was able to get inside the game but then I noticed some bugs:

- Every monster have a "?" orange name
- No XP given when killing any monster in game
- In character selection screen Female are all Invisible and if you create it, it Crashes your game

idk why I'm the only one who had this bug, I followed every single step, otherwise it wouldn't be working right? Is it because I'm using BR Client instead of PWI? Just to be sure downloading PWI already

Ok i fixed the user error part but i am still getting a "your client version is to low" error even thou the elements and gshop on the server and client are the same. is there some thing im missing?

Hey I fixed not leveling by reducing XP.

But all monsters still doesn't show the level and has a orange name... why?

ps.: do not forget to make a copy before failure, and after copying the files to the server through winscp (gamed) make sure they are as 0777 permission

that's the fix for the orange name right? because the othres were fixed already... it works with this release too I think?

Boy, this is not yet decided, but it sure is the client, since I also use pwi and usually appears
