Anywho, what itches me is that you have the time to write "Don't make a server", but you don't have the time to write a sticky "First time making server - LOOK HERE FIRST"... Big red color/font.

And then write "Respect the devs, for they feed you with info"

You never know who's got what idea, but I generally agree with you regarding ppl who want everything M$ style. Personally not a fan. Regardless, it's still confusing even for ppl who do have some knowledge regarding the development since this are, after all, gaming materials from hand-made work on KBoard.
Having a bit of "neatness" is imperative, tho. At least for you since you're the one who hates the nabs.

Did it myself out of hatred towards such attitude "nab, go home" and I hope that you'll change it for your own sake. As for the guy with reps etc etc - who cares? I don't know him, he doesn't know me. But you still read this which does give me slight advantage. What you do with all of this is of no concern of mine. Your brain, your decisions, as usual. and start. then you figured out, look for 144 serverfiles. avoid the EPIC COMMON PROBLEM, the client version low thingy. everything on forum about it. implement new monsters, mobs, npc, crafts, to this version, then download the v69one. there is a one more nice challange. get a v63 aipolicy, merge into this from v85 the advanced warsong and lunar bosses. done? download the v70 version, figure the pwadmin to works on this. done? give a proof. u'll get a like from me

In case that you didn't read properly (or you did, but didn't realize yet), the server's on already thanks to pretty much some Russian site and Google translator as well as 343 from this forum.
What I wrote was out of my good will to point out a error in the attitude "Don't help nabs". For a better community, nabs need to learn from more experienced. It can be more effective, always. Ragezone needs more talented ppl around.

Anyway, why do you think that someone cared for your "like"?! Why do you think that you deserve it in the first place?! I never asked you a thing to begin with nor you did help in any way other then typing something completely irrelevant to the development, just like I did.

It's understandable that you want to prove yourself, but prove yourself where it matters the most - helping others on the forum. That's what forums are used for. Sharing the info. Not saying that you don't do it, but my impression is that some of you got lazy for no reason. C'mon, a bit of action wouldn't hurt, no?

And don't think that I'm someone from the forum, playing a joke etc. I'm just random person here who shared his 2 cents. Stay cool and sry for long post.

The server is not as hard to setup. I just did it today and except a few errors it was fine and worked flawlessly. Now the hard part begins again, modify the server startup to suit my server, change config files, and so on.
But for the new-bloods, just go on the Help section and read the tutorials for any PW server (even 1.3.6) and really try to understand what you read and how this server works.

P.S.: The reference that Hycker made >>HERE<< it's a verry good way to start and has tons of useful information, so before starting a flame war some people might want to check it out.
