it is the same as another version before (1.4.x...) but make sure your procedure and function defined by mysql account that you assign in table.xml. many people choose root user but i won't for security reason, and if you are going to use non root user so you have to be clear and carefully for permission of pw database, table, procedure, function, etc...Quote:

You can use the default settings to putty to connect with default install with no modification.
I personally would change ports for ssh and not use "root" because everyone who knows linux knows what the default port is and within a small amount of time can get the password using various programs. I will make a tutorial on how do this at some point but my server is taking up most my time atm.
Sorry, maybe I am NOOB, but... I can start my server without problems, only my maps don't stay online. If I start map it is successful but 2 seconds later it is offline again.
Check your data files. Half uploaded/corruoted files can block your maps from startingQuote:

OK. I moved to main maps, shop worked on main maps.
Mkay, for some reason connection refused or timed out for server files :/ Decided to modify easy installer pw.sh script to DL and install only server files + pwAdmin as everything else I have already set up.... Best tool to edit Gshop? I prefer the one that pulls in from PW Database using id #, though it wouldn't work in win last night :/ Also best tool to edit quests and quest rewards as well as mob / Boss drops?

I started installing pw admin while I was waiting just so I could see what was running only the world map is running is there a command i can use to start the instances till i get pw admin up properly. Right now it works and i can see my stuff is running but i cant stay logged in as soon as i click server control or any other option it logs me out.

Note I have started a section of Gshop in my guide. Go HERE get the editor I included there and follow my instructions you should be able to open your data. I also included a copy of the stock gshop data for your convenience.

Please look. they have been re-uploaded a couple times now they are just buried.
Be aware that there is an update to Windows that now "protects" you from files you download by automatically disabling the file.
Right click on the file and check properties and at the bottom you will see if it has the protections enabled, and you can disable it.
This happened to me a while back when getting pw_tools source and every file had protections. I finally reinstalled windows and only updated what I needed and turned the updates off so this would not happen. There is another way to disable this, but I also had the annoying "get Windows 10" in my task bar and wanted to get rid of it too, so thats why I went ahead and reinstalled. I have my windows operating system on its own disk with everything else on other disks just so I can reinstall without loosing anything.
