ok i used this to try and set my server offline up... well i did get the server up as i used pwadmin to check and see if all proceses was online... one thing the start.sh script wont do is put any maps on so the gs is down i manually put it up but i used the client that in the forums here and kept getting a low client version i fixed that and nows its giving me a server network error... but this error is confusing its talking to mysql but its giving a matrix pass query isnt there so it times out...and im like racking my brain trying to figure that out... can anyone help?
No, a server network error means that AUTHD really is NOT "talking" to MySQL, or that there is somehow a problem with them "conversing". The only time I have seen this, along with the matrix password error / time-out you describe means AUTHD has not been told where the MySQL connector is... I have a post about that somewhere already. Look into making sure your AUTHD knows where to find the MySQL connector... If that is not the problem that I wouldn't know what it is (and hopefully someone else could step in to assist)...Quote:

actually i do use the google search to search this site ty and didnt show up anything... but anyways it was just one little typo in the table.xml file as where the db was located... however i did run into a issue where as i made the charc it loaded and then crashed no errors... so i mixed alot of clients till i got one working. as the problem was located in interface.pck ...so if anyone has a client that exits when it logs into world map then its more than likely to do with interface... and yes ive already tried changing gshop and fixing those... they work fine. and btw i aint such a noob... ive been outta pw for a few years just now getting back into it... except this time with no vbox... pure linux... so is a bit new but i love learning and helping when i can

try use dhcp conectionss or a internal network via vbox network driver
to start server go to paste pwserver into paste root and exec the file start.sh
$~cd /root/pwserver
$~./start.sh
phpmyadmin its default link is
IP-ADRESS/phpmyadmin or localhost/phpmyadmin
huh reference of the iweb i dont know where local is installed in this vbox
you need find jakarta and startup.
My default local to jakarta is opt
cd /opt/jakarta/bin/
./startup.sh
after this you can connect in web browser in default link
IP-ADRESS:8080/iweb or localhost:8080/iweb/
