You should check your logs to see what is causing you problems. The other possible solution would be to add/modify ONE item at a time...

btw .. you use GShop Editor 144 v2 from [B]ash or the newest sGSHOPedit from pwtools to edit your ghsop ? .. would be nice to know :D
as been said yes you can use any 1.4.4 gshop editor.
Also depending on the editor being used, you must make sure you remove duplicate items ( just double check ) as t his can cause a version low with those editors. else wise it also sounds like you edited some files. updated time stamp. and than exported and used on server. It worked, so you went and edited gshop again. Thing about gshops is every time you open it, the time stamp must be updated. Not just once but every single time. Hope this helps.
