[1.4.5] female characters dont appear! Need help urgently!

hey guys, im stuck in an issue since yesterday.. and I changed clients and servers but the problem persists!! IM GETTING UPSET .. ive never seen such a problem before..

The problem is that the female characters are not appearing on the login screen and when I log into the game, it says.. Entering in Perfect World, but nothing happens... There's no error in the log of the server.. but everything is totally fine with the male character.. I can log in and do everything..


I changed the PWI Client.. I changed the server.. but still doesn't work.. thanks in advance :l

ok ive seen this issue on my server it has to do with the models.pck file.. thats where the players are located. mine happened when i put pwi models.pck into my client the newest pwi models wont show the females. but try the version v580 or 606 it should work fine.

but I have a question.. when the players play my game, they will have to update their PWI otherwise the client won't work... if they don't update, the models.pck is fine, but the rest won't work.. if they update... the models.pck won't work, but the rest will...

what do I do? :/

Actually you have your own patch server, because the file that new surfaces.pck required is on new models.pck that has MOXTVersion more than 62, they are 65 or 66 i forgot, your EC does not support MOXTVersion more than 62, that's why you have to convert the models's files with the right converter for making the updated models works.

Don't use the latest PWI client for your server, recently they have added a lot of files that are not supported anymore, for example interface files, female models or GFX for most of the seeker skills are invisible. Adding updated model files to the patch server is not the best idea either, you would have to add all of the unsupported files and there is no way to find them all (or waste of time).
The best if you were keeping your own fully working client on download server or provide link for your players to some v612 client (for example official torrent etc.)

well. I see ... but in my opinion, I think that the best way to solve is if I put the Client (my client) already ready for download.. and if there's one update on the .pck files.. just use the auto patch.. xD

btw, is possible to create like an installer for a folder? I mean.. the people just download the installer.. and the installer installs the folder. Is this possible guys?

Yes, there are tons of 'installation creators'. I personally use QSetup
