An updated tutorial to make your PW Server Online
Hi RaGEZONErs! Just wanted to know if there is a new or an updated way of hosting your server online to make it accessible anywhere at any network? I've been trying to search for threads/tutorials on Google and on this forum as well and it seems I coudn't find an updated one that could help me on my case. I'm trying to host a PW v151 server on my Ubuntu 14.04 virtual machine(VMware). I'm able to access it locally but just can't host it online.
I tried to search ways of port forwarding and even saw a tutorial using no ip on this forum but the attached photos of steps of those said tutorials are no longer available and I can't see the rest of the steps.
I tried my best to not post a help thread but I think this is the right time.
BTW, I'm using a Huawei EG8245H5 Router and I already have a reserved hostname on https://www.noip.comto do this. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I won't go into security because that is up to you to figure out and there are way too many ways.Step one: port forward the game port. which i believe is 29000 or 2900.Step two: make sure the other computer has a client with the updates files for the server you are trying to connect to. (gshop, elements.data, etc.)Step three: update the clients server list files with the servers WANIP (google "what's my ip" from the same network) and port (x.x.x.x:port)that is the very very basic way of doing it.If you are using no-ip you can follow this guide to get it setup on the server. then just replace the WANIP from the client with the no-ip domain name.https://www.noip.com/support/knowled...on-ubuntu/that way using no-ip's D.U.C you wont need to worry about changing IP's.

Thank you very much, I was confused with the WANIP thing, now it will be easier to do. :)
