If that's the error you're getting that is always a problem with AUTHD not being able to 'talk' to MySQL (for whatever reason that is)...

There could be a million reasons AUTHD and MySQL could have "trouble communicating with each other" though... That's just a fact, if you can figure out why your MySQL and AUTHD aren't "talking to each other" then you will have fixed your problem :wink:

Completely wrong. Authd works with any java>=6, including Openjdk 6,7 and sun-jdk6 and 7
It may even run with java 5 when you recompile the changes I and robb made to authd back in january.
