    Can someone help?

    Hello,

I have a dual OS system (Windows XP & Linux Mint) I have server files on my laptop that runs windows 7 home premium and i copied the server files (they are called PWServer fixed and a folder inside is PWServer zepekeno if someone know's where those are i forgot to notepad the URL that i DLed from) so after i copied them into the Linux partition on the desktop and i put it in ~/PWServer but every time i enter the command ./start.sh into the su terminal it gives me something like this
    untitled.png

if the terminal is hard to read my apologies:
    Terminal says:
    Code:
    fluzzy@fluzzy-desktop ~ $ su -
    Password:
    fluzzy-desktop ~ # cd /PWServer/
    fluzzy-desktop PWServer # ./start.sh
-su: ./start.sh: /bin/sh^M: bad interpreter: No such file or directory
    fluzzy-desktop PWServer #
i just want to get a server up for me and a friend to mess around with to see if we like it, on my windows 7 laptop i have a VirtualBox hard drive? and it has a PWI server on it already but i cant find the IP for that and the laptop is unreliable with staying on, can anyone help me set this up?

Go to preferences in WinSCP and click the Transfer option, tab ("filename modification") and uncheck the ("Replace '\': *" ... ") option

transfer all your files from the server perfect world again

ok in the console of your pwserver folder type in dir... it shows everything in the directory... if its there and u type that in then you need to be in root....
so setup your root pass... which is like sudo password root then press enter
    then type in your password
and then relogin with that pass

    change #!bin/sh to #!bin/bash

    (basically change "sh" to "bash")

    sometimes that works

With linux mint the Red text is root user and green is normal user, this is why i color coded it ^-^

Actually, just like you just typed it. In linux you can have and use spaces in directory or file names by simply using single OR double quotes IE:

    cd '/opt/this is a spaced out directory/'
    or
    cd "/opt/this is a spaced out directory/"
    or even:
    nano '/opt/file name with space.txt'
    or
    nano "/opt/file name with space.txt"

    etc etc etc ... ... ...
