Ok I would like to be directed to a good guide for setting these up. This was the one step I never got to in my previous endeavors and the guides I have managed to find and try seem to be outdated our missing key information. Any help in this regard would be much appreciated. I want to learn this so I can put it in my guide.
Ok I have all of cpw configured until the initial build now I am getting what I think is a heap size error but increasing it didn't work maybe i am increasing it wrong or misreading the error here is the error

Open the bat file with notepad standard cpw is set to somewhere near 500mb memory you can give it 1024 and itll run smooth

Do i need to unpack the .pck files or something?
read the user guide for cpw?
I have been i have tried spatch too but cant seem to make the xup file when i drag and drop the folder in the tool nothing happens. I am just trying to find anyway i can patch my client and this seems to be the hardest thing yet.

Also everything ive tried fails with models.pck I was wondering if there is a way to unpack the .pck files via ssh on my server. I have been googling all night I have a slow home connection so it will take me 24 hours to upload all .pck files unpacked if i gotta do it by hand.

Ok seems now I am getting somewhere some data got corrupted on my server the cause of most of these issues. I have spatch configured now when i click patcher it comes up says it checked but under current version available it doesnt show my new patch. I am assuming this has to do with my version? I edited it according to the guide I was following.

problem solved ill be putting out a spatch tutorial later today with a finished gshop tutorial
