Re: [Help] 1.5.1 iWeb Giving Network timeout exception while saving xmldata
Ok well here are the steps i followed . I was using 1.4.8 V85 iweb which came with Jakarta folder
1.) removed old iweb from webapps folder
2.) Copied new iweb from tomcat folder from cpackage ( only iweb folder and not other files inside tomcat folder )
3.) Deleted xerces and xercesimpl.jar from classes.
4.) changed etc/iweb.conf to match ips from gdeliveryd/gamesys.conf
5.) copied old web.xml file from 1.4.8 iweb into WEB-INF folder of new iweb.
6.) changed /home/jakarta/webapps/iweb/WEB-INF/classes/iweb.conf with same IP's used by etc/iweb.conf
7.) restarted jakarta tomcat and tried to access http://localhost:8080/iweb/role/
It shows up Iweb page but on clicking any of the tabs i get HTTP 500 Error
Java is installed properly ....
I am not sure what else i am missing . I tried to search for Iweb tutorial installing from scratch but all i found was some pre build releases where we just have to copy and paste into webapps folder and change config file ..
Any help here is much appreciated .
Thanks

But thats the main thing i want Iweb Running :) .
Re: [Help] 1.5.1 iWeb Giving Network timeout exception while saving xmldata
I'm not really sure mate not familiarized myself with the new stuff yet. I prefer 1.3.6 to all this crap they keep stuffing in.
but from what I've looked at the 1.5.1 iweb has stuff missing....
Re: [Help] 1.5.1 iWeb Giving Network timeout exception while saving xmldata
Cool man thanks for reply and trying to help .
If anyone has 1.5.1 iWeb working would you mind sharing a brief tutorial on what to include that is missing or what to remove like @Bola said few things about new iWeb :) :):
