[Help] I need to use ip hamachi for playing with my freind

Hi ,
I have created my private server with Virtual Box , and when i connect i need a hamachi Ip , and i need to change him for playing with my friends and i don't have any idea to change him.

Sorry for my english i am a french.

First of all GET RID of Hamachi, it is GARBAGE!

I REALLY wish I could claim this kid was mine (he sounds like he's 10 but) he knows more about networking than 90% of the adults I know <.<





I wont give him any credit for using an apple product (in the 2nd video) since I HATE apple, but I will give him credit since I noticed he was using a DLink "office" router (which will be better than standard 'consumer crap'), even though I realize it's most likely his parents that bought it, and it's probably also his parent(s) that can be credited for him knowing so much... Trust me, my kids will know just as much if not more than this little guy >.>

I'm really not trying to insult you, I AM trying to help; but I am not going to spoon feed you because then you wont learn anything. If you GIVE a man a fish you feed him FOR A DAY, but if you teach him to fish, you feed that man FOR LIFE...

First thing is first, get rid of Hamachi... It will not help you learn networking one bit... Also, you really do NOT have to learn advanced networking to run a server of ANY type. It's the most basic of networking... Some points you should learn/read up on:

• DHCP (static and dynamic IPs) because for servers you HAVE to use STATIC
• Firewall / Port Forwarding because for servers you HAVE to allow inbound traffic on the designated port(s) for whatever services you're running
• DNS (if you want people to be able to access your server using a simple name like MYSERVER.COM)
• ROUTERS ~ They are the middle man between your LAN and the WAN
• The difference in LAN and WAN IP's

Thank you for your tutorial but i have a problem i use a 3G modem and i'am not have a possiblity to add/change a TCP and IP.
