How to add Custom icons?

can someone explain me how to add custom icons to the game.
i made .dds file 32x32 pixels with photoshop and add to surface.pck and link it in element.data but its not working please guide me the way do it correct.

You have to unpack surfaces.pck and add the icon to files:
surfaces\iconset\iconlist_ivtrm.dds
surfaces\iconset\iconlist_ivtrf.dds

and the file name here:
surfaces\iconset\iconlist_ivtrm.txt
surfaces\iconset\iconlist_ivtrf.txt

just add icon with photoshop right? but how i put a file name for it?
