    Okay,

    i have a desktop that will be dedicated to a PWServer but im trying to choose between having a Ubuntu/Linux Server OS or the Ubuntu Server OS what would be better to use???

    btw, ubuntu is Linux, they all mostly are.
    It's a bit like walking into an ice-cream shop, they're all ice-creams, just different colours and tastes.

    If you're new, hands down -- there's only one choice, at least until you're more familiar with things to be able to make other choices on your own IS:

    Ubuntu SERVER x64

    There, a TON easier on you now:
