i have a question, i followed all the steps from this thread...but i cant seem to make it work on the part where it says i need to use winscp to transfer files, i can connect to my ip but unable to get the permission working. it says i cant copy files to /etc. googled lots of solutions but nothing seems to work, i always get a permission denied. so i thought to just manually copy it via nautilus on ubuntu, cause thats what we are trying to do in these part right?just copy paste?...so after that i cotinue on the next step including the iweb part. then after that, i tested it and it worked good, logged in create a char and played until lvl 10. then i did something to vbox and cause my guest os to not work..so i reinstalled everything xD...but now instead of repeating all what i did, i wanna make sure if its alright to skip winscp?i mean just use nautilus?or winscp is a must?i heard it can duplicate remote files?is that what we trying to do here?dont overwrite the files in /etc?
if we really need to use winscp can someone help me to setup winscp?i cant figure out how to make it work, wasted hours on this part on my first installation.

no, thats not what i wanted to ask,...i mean on all in all, will it be the same if i only copy paste the contents of /PWServer/,setup/etc to linux /etc via gksu nautilus?if i do that it will overwrite some files.
will the server work the same?
i mean the purpose of using winscp on this tutorial is to copy paste(w/ overwriting) the contents of pwserver/.setup/etc to root etc/ right?
so why use winscp when u can just use gksudo nautilus?winscp is to copy files from 1 server to your local dir or vice versa... and in these case we are only copying files and pasting it on same os, not on different computer(u know what i mean on this one)

its easy for you maybe as u have used winscp a lot...but me, xD, i forced myself to do something very irrelevant, i dont even play PWI, xD
this is my first time setting up server, google a lot of things, this winscp is a challenge i cant bring myself to make this one work,xD
but thanks, anyway the important stuff worked on this tutorial, maybe just change some more client and server files and make a better iweb

well this function stop the server
its obvious the link of gamedbd as disconnect of gdeliveryd because hes as offline and gdeliveryd no stop in same time
