download winscp
create a new connection
ip: your linux IP
port: 22
username: root
password: your password
go to folder ../pwserver/gamed
there is some file and one folder (config)
find the file called GS
rename the original GS to GS_ORIGINAL (thats your backup, the untouched original GS)
download it with winscp to your localhost where you have the exp changer
when download done, RENAME THE DOWNLOADED FILE TO GS -> run exp changer
set rates and apply it or write depend which release you got
upload this GS file to ../pwserver/gamed folder
start your server and enjoy the rates what you did
if you cant do it with this "guide" forget this game
Honestly (not to be a dick but) if you lack that much experience (in/with Linux) you need to stop asking us "what to do" and just go "play around". Because, you're not going to really learn anything if all you do is 'copy' exactly what we tell you to do. IE: If I told you to type "cp -R * /" you would do it, but that does not mean you would actually learn WHAT that just did!
So, do yourself a flavor, go experiment! Trial and error is the BEST teacher :wink:
