You need to install the client I linked on the first post, and THEN replace the data files you find in the patch and tool download.
If you still have issues, let me know.
BTW, those random symbols are suppose to be Chinese. Your computer just doesn't recognize them.

Seems to work just fine for the other people, or they have not said anything. Anyways, try to re-download it..as it could have corrupted on download. Make sure all 3 parts are in the same folder, then extract the contents of part 1.

hi i need help , i invite a friend in my home with his computer and he is in wifi ect... , but the problem is his client cannot connect i dont see
anything online on the client when i choose server : not ping , not population , not eve'nt info :s :s , so i want know is possible play local multiplayer lol

Of course it's possible, just set up his client the same way you set up your client (serverlist.txt) with the LAN IP of the server you've set up.

You could even have people from the WAN connect and play provided you've properly set up all the ports it needs in your router and any software firewalls. Only difference is people outside your LAN (on the WAN) would have to have your PUBLIC IP in their serverlist.txt :wink:

ah ok but in root/pwserver/ what file i can modified ip gamesys.conf in glinkd folder ? or other file ? , i try with ip hamachi but dont work :s i dont know , its only thing i want fix for the moments lol

You should NOT be changing ANY of the IP's on the server side. For the most part they should ALL be 127.0.0.1 (and 0.0.0.0 for glink [that listens on port 29000])

The ONLY reason you would EVER change IP's in the 'daemon' configurations would be if you were splitting up the server so that one "game server" would be on multiple physical machines...

i have bin working (Downloading files google and what not) 2 days 4 hours of sleep this is how much i want this i get the server network error
and will like to know how to fix this as easy as you can explain to me I am no pro at this stuff so plz help me i am a real n00b
i see ppl say this file and that file but cant find the files and i dont know if its on the client or the server files or VMware Workstation WHERE the files is that i need to fix

if its working on video tutorial it should work on you too...
its either you did something wrong or by any chance you missed something and didnt follow the video correctly....
here is the proof that this server is working just perfectly fine.... the server files i used in this video is the same files Broc posted....
