Only if you don't have an adequate machine to run it on. Yes anything higher than v136 requires MUCH more machine to be ran on. However, this is no problem for me, seeing as I have servers that go all the way up to 512GB of physical RAM... (YES you read that right, 512 GB of RAM)Quote:

Sorry im new to 1.4.5 servers i was abke to get the 343's 1.3.6 server working properly but i downloaded the 1.4.5 server files and i'm confused as to what to do? do i just put these on a frenshly installed ubuntu or overwrite my 1.3.6 with these files? ik the 2nd idea is crazy but i couldnt find any "decent" guides lol ~ well not one for a noob like me anyways. would help if someone could point me in the right direction. I have Mc145SERVER.7z, after extracted, contains many files and folders. Different from the version 1.4.4. it contains some files open using vmware.
