a little more help (TRANSFERRING DB'S)

ok now that i have a server that works i would like to bring all my charters from one server to the other, only one problem, i have forgotten how to get into the phpmyadmin, i believe the link would be 192.169.1.10/phpmyadmin, but it does not work. what do i need to do to get phpmyadmin working so i can go into the database files? is phpmyadmin in hrace009's release?

i have read threw alot of post on here, and have come to a stand still. i wish hrace009's thread was still here, on it was all the things i had to do to get back to where i was, its been 10 months + since i had to do any of this. i can run around and everything loads fine, just cant buy anything out of botique, mind you i never lost my client, so i just reopened it, if i recall right some file has to be in both the server and the client, i also have to find my npcgen.data file that has all the npc's i edited. to fix the safe zone error in 1k i believe i had to convert the new map folder and replace a file in the server wich one i dont remember anymore. like i said all of this was found in his thread. sorry for all the questions

you can try to copy the files if no just wipe /redo and its better
i have tried this, and it works charters pop over, problem, the accounts dont, their stored in the database, if i could get into that i can easyily move them over, im useing hrace009's release that used oracle VM virtualBox, once i can get into the database i can take care of the charters/accounts, then only the other questions remain

Game characters are stored in the gamedbd DB. Accounts, GM flag etc are stored in the MySQL DB. Whenever 'transferring' you must backup/copy over both DB's or you'll wind up having accounts and no characters, or characters no accounts.

There's only a million plus ways you could do this... Using the MySQL command line, phpmyadmin, navicat, or one of the other 999,997 programs out there for managing DBs...
    Spoiler:
personally I recommend and use Navicat myself

your right most of the questions had been answered, on hrace009's original post, now that the hole post is gone i have to ask them again. if i had not searched already i would not be asking the questions, i know alot of ppl who post here do just ask, i spent hours going threw post of phpmyadmin on here, i did not find one that answered my question. is phpmyadmin in hrace009's release already or do i need to install it. sorry if i sound ticked but i do understand y some ppl get ticked off. not all of us are idiots . i say this bc even tho i asked my question, it seams like people are not reading it. i have stated that my ip is 192.168.1.10 and has been changed as such, yet one post is simply 192.168.0.10, i do know where the account info is stored, what i cant remember is how i got into it last time, i know i used phpmyadmin. sorry for the rant just had to let it go. i appreachate everyones help, i really do, just get ticked when ppl treat me like i have not tried looking for the answers myself, heck half the time i find the answer b4 anyone lets me know.

ok so after all of this i looked how to install navicat, and while searching i came across phpMyAdmin-3.2.4 not phpmyadmin wow after all that it was just bc of the name, i dont know if i should feel stupid or, just say wow. after all this digging just a name was wrong, well anyway i can get into phpmyadmin, i changed the folder name to such and it worked 192.168.1.10/phpmyadmin :) now to run to my server and power it up so i can pull the old accounts

what was the point of that link? do you think i dont know how to move the files? or how to google? look im gonna be frank, i ask the questions here bc i have questions my searching did not answer, ppl who dont read the messege, then post a reply dont help. for once i wish someone would read all the post, and reply with some useful info. the database has been moved! i already stated that, something else is going on so i asked a question. when ever i go to register an account i get a mysql error, cant log into the accounts bc of this same error, tho in phpmyadmin its their, in pwadmin i can see all charters and accounts, i dont understand what error mysql is haveing
