He meant to say it is hard to shut down servers IN Romania, France, and Russia.
I heard it is near IMPOSSIBLE to shut down a server in Russia.
Why is france said to be that secure?
Weird. I never thought of France as a place like that XD.
//OOH btw I went with 1and1, they are pro so far. Everythings been done right.
Add Switzerland and Sweden to that list
Switzerland has a long history of just not giving a shit with what people do their (if you have a .ch domain it is impossible for the whole damn world to shut it down. Switzerland is, after all, famous for being incredibly neutral)
And Sweden, well, they have The Pirate Bay. I think that is enough to say it is safe there.
The Pirate Bay is hosted in Sweden? DAMN. Isn't the Netherlands a good place to host also?
How on earth can you of not known the pirate bay is hosted in Sweden, its perhaps one of the most famous cases ever.
Though Sweden is becoming worse and worse due to US pressure. I can't say I've ever come across a swiss host.

Its near impossible to shut down any server/service in most european areas because of their laws, in the long run it brings revenue to their country and in huge amounts because they are not a part of the interpol regulations, it has its ups and downs but their argument is "If you don't want people hosting your stuff in our country then don't leave such security holes to allow them to be capable of doing such activities", which is fair but again a lot of hackers etc are loving it because again they're not touched as much as someone from UK or USA etc who have these laws.
Gotta love international politics!
